day #365 - the end of an era

I thought I was on top of it; I had finished early and was looking for a movie to watch already 3 hours ago. And I don't know how time went by. A phonecall, some networking studying, some online shopping and here we are, already past the time for an early movie. Regardless, today is a special day. The blog is over! I finished 365 days of daily painting and recording it, whatever that means. A big part of the process I will have to keep doing mainly for myself. day #298 - The sleepwalker who wanted to be a ballerina

Today was another tough day. I'm not sure I understand why, but my mind was "unnaturally" upset. Eventually I did lots of stuff and thankfully, I did finish editing one of the most difficult pieces for my archive; now I've cought up! Did lots of photoshooting and at the very least managed to do two "doodles" in my sketchbook. They turned out more thoughtful and sucessful than I had anticipated and together they make a nice story! What I like about them? The linequality has been great; I'm very satisfied with how my hand worked today; anatomy is good too and the overall composition is fine! There were numerous things that could go wrong and yet didn't and as a result I've had two of my best sketches in a long time! Overall, I'm happy on three levels: Execution was good, depth/idea/narrative was good aswell, and I did manage to draw on a day I was finding it difficult! Time for rest!
