day #365 - the end of an era

I thought I was on top of it; I had finished early and was looking for a movie to watch already 3 hours ago. And I don't know how time went by. A phonecall, some networking studying, some online shopping and here we are, already past the time for an early movie. Regardless, today is a special day. The blog is over! I finished 365 days of daily painting and recording it, whatever that means. A big part of the process I will have to keep doing mainly for myself. Perhaps taking daily photos of my work and saving it on some folder. This has provem useful many times when I trying to date a piece I've been working on. day #88 - Slightly more energetic

Lazy day; I spent indoors. Though it would seem that such days are the best for painting/drawing, once again it wasn't until later in the evening that I started. It's that bad though; I managed to be somewhat creative with a series of exploratory sketches from vehicles, to buildings, to characters. Even some imaginary poses were among the works of the day. Later on I went on actual "practice" and started with 30sec silhouettes, then some 30sec postures/gestures and finally some more detailed 3minute postures, though I must admit that I don't know what to do in this much time other than draw 2 or 3 attempts of the same posture. Maybe I need to look into that.

I've very satisfied about how I'm starting to understand the leg and today's gestures, thought very very dirty and not to minimalistic in terms on line, they are very very expressive and detailed. In other words, there is a high concentration of information in relatively few lines! Finally, I'm happy with my progression in the era of no skeletons.
